Today is the 47th birthday of the South African Paratrooper. 1 Parachute Battalion was founded on the 1st of April 1961 and so began the journey of the this distinguished unit which has out done expectations and to this day is held in high esteem the world over…

Site Upgrade
As our members and I’m sure a few guest would have noticed, the site has been offline for a few days. It’s been a long Easter weekend, but all the work done has been worth while.

Well its official …. its that time of the year again where we celebrate the ending of a good year and the starting of a new one and reflect upon the good times we have had, the friends we have made and the friends we have lost along the way.
